Just around an hour of driving from Pto. Varas, the “Solitario” trail goes downhill on the slopes of the Osorno, allowing us to walk trough the morphology of the volcano and its evergreen flora. Bushes, trees and volcanic scree; traces of lahars and if we have clear skies during our trip, we will joy with the magnificent view to the Petrohue Valley, the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes.
The trail ends close to the entrance of the Petrohue waterfalls, so after hike it, we can make a stop to visit the most popular attraction of the oldest national park in Chile.
The regular trip departure is in the morning, but also it can be at 2pm!
Add-on: if we have enough time, it is possible to make a lunch stop in the village of Ensenada, or we can organize that you join the afternoon rafting from Ko`Kayak in the Petrohue River.
