A small ski area, a cozy mountain lodge and the rangers office provides enough infrastructure to discover the cone-shaped accumulation of pyroclastic material in the volcano. During the tour we will pass through different craters, adventive cone, and fractures produced by the past flank eruptions of the volcano.
Our car way will bring us through the Llanquihue lake, Ensenada village and the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park with incredibles viewpoints of the Calbuco and Osorno.
In the volcano, our first goal will be the “Cráter Rojo”. A soft walk will bring us to the end of the first part of the chair lift and it red carpeted depression. From here we will continue our way up to the 1.675m of altitude, at the return of the lift. A short 15 minutes walk will bring us to the viewpoint of the seraks in the glacier of the volcano. In the way down we will summit a satellite cone to have a marvelous view of the Llanquihue lake.
The last part of our trip will be at Teski Mountain Hut with a deserved lunch!
